We need volunteers!
If you are interested in being a participant in one of our studies please get in touch! We are looking for healthy control volunteers to participate in our study, please send us an email for more details on how to take part.
During these experiments we will ask you to do simple hand movements while we record signals from your brain and muscle using electrodes that are placed on the skin surface. The information we can gain from examining these signals will help us to understand the changes that take place in brain-muscle connectivity in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), also known as motor neurone disease.
Did you know that some organisations sign up to Employer-supported volunteering (ESV), also known as Corporate Volunteering? This is where the organisation will allow employees take paid time off to volunteer during work hours. As we are supported by a registered charity, Research Motor Neurone, signing up for our research study can be counted as part of this volunteer work if your company is signed up to ESV.
